Rahul Bagga, a senior patent attorney of ANS IP Management Services (as an associate), also serves as the Director at Aumirah IP, India (an International IPR Firm). Rahul with his experience of more than 11 years in handling IP matters, patents in particular, in field of biotechnology, genomics, molecular biology, medtech, agritech, pharma, chemistry, life sciences, healthcare, and other allied sciences across multiple jurisdictions. Rahul is a registered patent and design agent with Indian Patent Office.  

Rahul posses an extensive knowledge of patent laws of India, US, EP, China, Japan and many other countries, through the way of experience in prosecuting multiple applications in multiple countries. He is capable of advising clients on different patent strategies to enhance Aumirah’s clients’ IP portfolio both within India and overseas.

He has extensive experience in drafting patent specifications in areas field of science/tech mentioned above. He has also worked on numerous patent analytics projects and is a regular speaker at IP awareness sessions organised by various communities, companies and universities in India and abroad.  

Rahul is a graduate of Imperial College London (ICL) with MSc DIC in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology and has more than 2 years of academic research experience in field of molecular biology/biotechnology, specifically in mammalian cell culture process optimisations.
